Who first detected the neutrino?

fred reines and clyde cowan? Or Raymond Davis and John Bahcall?|||Reines and Cowan are credited with the first experimental detection

of the neutrino, back in 1956. They used an ingeniuous indirect method

to detect neutrinos streaming out of the Savannah River nuclear reactor.

You can read about it here:

Davis and Bahcall are also known for neutrino work, but they are associated with designing experiments to detect solar neutrinos, in the

1960s. They were not the first to detect neutrinos.
