Was it OK to use Sharia Law to free Raymond Davis the murderer in Pakistan?

or just another case of GROSS hypocrisy|||The only standard of "OK" we have anywhere is the law applicable in the place where an offense is alleged to have happened. Travelers should be far more aware of that fact than they appear to be.|||Raymond Davis is security contractor for the CIA who was part of an agency team operating out of a safe house in Lahore. He opened fire on two Pakistani men after they tried to abduct him at a traffic light.

If you were working for the government and were taken prisoner, would you be picky as to what means were employed to secure your release?

@L.T.M lol, that would be about as subtle and diplomatic as one of these: http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/dumb/鈥?/a>|||How about a B-52 next time.
