She feared American would be released without trial ?

LAHORE: The widow of Muhammad Faheem, one of the two civilians shot dead by a US citizen Raymond Davis committed suicide after taking poisonous pills on Sunday, fearing the American would be released without trial, police and doctors said.





Shumaila, the wife of Faheem, took poisonous pills and was taken to hospital in Faisalabad, local police chief Usman Anwar said, where she died despite attempts to save her.





"Faheem's wife Shumaila has died," doctor Yasin Hashmi, head of Allied Hospital, said.





"Doctors tried hard to save her life but could not succeed and she died a short while ago," he said.





Police officer Rana Atif confirmed the death.





Her body will be handed over to the family after a post mortem, he said.





Emergency ward doctor Ali Naqi said her condition had deteriorated in the evening, confirming the suicide attempt.





He earlier quoted Shumaila as saying that she feared Davis could be released without trial.





Shumaila said that she was upset over reports that efforts were being made to secure his release.





"I was under shock and decided to kill myself," she said. "We want blood for blood," she said|||I don't really care.





1) It is an established fact the those two men were armed with guns themselves.


2) It is an established fact that those two men were attempring to rob Davis


3) It is an established fact that Davis carries a diplomatic passport





This whole situation is a farce where the Pakistani government is atrtempting to use Davis to get money from the US.





Personally, I am tired of the fact that the real issue here is that Davis is guilty of: 'being an American.'

“The reports that some back-channel efforts were underway to secure release of Davis forced her to register her protest by committing suicide,” family sources were quoted as saying."





Davis is a diplomat from the US who claims an attempt was made to rob him and he was acting in self defense.





Where is the question?|||The was carrying illegal weapons...then he starts shooting on the street...then he drives the car on the wrong way and kills one person...he has a fake diplomatic visa under a fake name... .this happened in Pakistan so it should be dealt with according to the Pakistani law...|||This sounds like she is confessing to his murder.
