I am waiting for administrative processing to end for visa, but US consulate closing here?

Hi, I had my interview 3 months ago at US embassy, my case is on pending (administrative processing) and my mom's case is approved as told by embassy four weeks ago but i didn't ask for visa as my mom wants to go with me. But I heard on the news that US consulate is closing because my country illegally arrested an American named Raymond Davis.

Is it going to effect my or my mom's case in anyway? My visa will be rejected right?|||no reason to think so at the moment. in any case all immigrant visas are done at the US embassy in Islamabad. I imagine the embassy will still be there even after you get through administrative processing. unless, of course, Pakistanis burn it down again. in that case, all bets are off.|||Richard i have also the same problem. Plz tell me furthur proceedings u got..waiting 4 ur reply
