suns get jermaine o neal and a 2013 1st round pick

celtics get channing frye and cash|||1.) the hawks wouldn't give up smith for just a bunch of role players, they want a legit center for al horfod to play at his natural power forward position.

2.) the suns are a rebuilding team and doesn't want a headache to influence their young players

3.) what's the point of doing this trade? you have westbrook as your point guard, why get calderon? nate robinsin is a decent backup if he's healthy.

4.) this trade makes sense for both teams. stephen curry will emerge as a top 15 point guard with ray allen as his running mate. curry's assist stat will elevate as allen will also help the warriors get the 8th spot in the west playoffs. while the celtics secure another all star for their future, but let's see how doc rivers mentor a run-and-gun type of guy and how ellis plays with rondo.

5.) the cavs are rebuilding, they won't get a washed up lamar odom. lakers are the only team whol will benefit in this trade.

6.) risky trade but not bad either. blazers get a good leader and may improve aldridge's performance(like amare in the past). you're getting an old nash but you may see a western conference finals showdown with the mavs/lakers.

7.) the suns would lose their small forwards, who will they start here?

8) null trade. try glen davis for robin lopez.|||1) All of those four that would be coming to Atlanta is not enough for getting josh smith. Like someone said from the hawks association, "he is a like a mini-lebron".. this deal can be done if the gm just go crazy..

- even if you replace kris with brook, they wouldn't give up j-smooth that easily..

2) This trade is close to impossible because the only piece that the lakers would receive significantly is pietrus. no offense to the other two but they would be put on the bench or waived immediately..

3) I dont think that the thunders would even give up any of their core group at this time and especially the contract of calderon could burden OKC.

4) this is just plain silly, the GSW wont give up ellis for a veteran that could only be a role player and a back up PG that is inconsistent.. i would contradict that allen could be a running mate of curry because why would you invest for an aging player when you could make curry and ellis work together even better..

5) Lakers wont give up lamar for only harris and beefing up your rivals roster is like commiting suicide.. coming out of his sixth man award year, the team wont get a 1 that is only fast but is inconsistent night in and night out..

6) This trade would be possible if the suns management wants to rebuild. giving up nash and acquiring a younger 1.. On the blazers part, they would make this move if they have a 1 that would be mentored by nash for the future.

7) first of all, OKC wont give a young one for a retiring one.. this is a big no-no..

8) this one is just plain stupid (sorry for the foul language), if you say j.oneal on his prime for frye no doubt about this trade.. but an aging and bench warming j.oneal, no thanks celtics..
