I would recommend her book And Then There Were None, as I think it's her best.

this is from a 8 man head to head fantasy draft league|||For a 8-man league, your team is currently going to be cellar-dweller... other than your 1st pick Granger, it appears that you've over-drafted the rest of your picks...
I'd immediately try to trade Kidd, Davis, Miller to anyone that will give you better players based on name recognition value alone... the only untradeable on your team is Granger, everyone else should be fair-game if you can gain better players through package-upgrade (2 for 1, 3 of 2, etc) deals.
Your only chance for playoffs is if you can pull off multiple package-upgrade trades and grab some young, rising players off the waiver...
Best of luck, you're going to need it...

I would offer Chris Kaman and a lower level player (Yianlian).

I'm in my finals match up against a guy who has Paul, Johnson, and Iverson among others. If I were you, I'd pick up somebody for both Wallaces - Gerald is hurt and Rasheed might not play much for this final period as the Pistons are resting their starters. I'd go with Nesterovic - he's playing lights out lately. I'd also consider Childress and West - I think they are playing better than Moon right now.

Who on this list isnt a point guard?
Ok well I answered this one dude and he wanted players better then Rajon Rondo. I gave this list and he said some of those guys aren't point guards then insulted me. So people please tell me who on this list isn't a point guard.
1) Chris Paul

17) Andre Miller
18) Jameer Nelson
19) Mo Williams
20) Kirk Hinrich
Other random ones
Stephon Marbury, Jason Williams, TJ Ford|||What up Habib,
Techinically speaking: Monta Ellis is the only player on this list that is not a point guard. He's been playing the two- and has played alongside Baron Davis while Baron was a Warrior.
Jason Terry and Barbosa are shoot first pass second point guards and are probably better suited to play the two- but they've played point guard for their respective team. Terry actually started while Devin Harris was there- because Harris was inconsistent and turnover prone- but with the arrival of Kidd has actually switched over and played more 2. And Barbosa has been playing backup to Nash- though i think with the signing of a backup point you may see Barbosa dealt or playing more of the two.

i would say rondo is just as good as harris if not better, they both dont have a shot, theyre both quick, but rondo plays better defense and rebounds a lot better.
i wouldnt say kyle lowry is better than rondo, neither is fisher, farmar, nelson, mo williams. these guys all have a better shot than rondo, but overall id say rondo is better than them.|||Monta Ellis isn't a PG because of all these years he played with Baron, but now Mullin wants him to become the PG.
Jason Terry isn't a point guard, at 6'2'' he's an SG, having Devin Harris and Jason Kidd these years, although I do believe he was a PG on the Hawks.
Leandro Barbosa is a SG, although he can run the point, he plays better at the two slot.|||Well technically Leandro Barbosa, Jason Terry, and Monte Ellis aren't point guards according to their official position, but they are combo guards who can play the point guard position but score a bit more than a real point guard but don't circulate the ball as much, combo guards aren't very rare anymore these days and finding a real one is the challenge now.|||monta and J. I'm finally giving up on Gilbert Arenas. Now what am I suppose to do?
I held onto him WAY TOO LONG and now 2.5 games from a playoff position. I managed to hold on for so many weeks only losing 5-7, 6-6, or 4-7 but it's now gotten to the point that I may not be able to catch up. I scoured the waiver wire and noticed the following available
Conley
Rondo
Ricky Davis
Francisco Garcia
Travis Outlaw
Raja Bell
I don't have a SG playing tomorrow, but I do have Mike Dunleavy, Marvin Williams, and Raymond Felton on the squad. Who's the best option at this point?|||First off i would like to comment on gangstarr4eva post: dropping Warrick makes no sense right now. Since being put into the starting lineup on Feb 12 he has put up 20.8ppg with 8.7 boards while shooting 54.4% from the field. You want to drop those numbers for Rell and his 11.9 points and 3.7 boards....
On to the question - Gilbert practiced last week with the Wizards, but it was only light and non-contact. But that is a start. But im guessing this question was prompted by the news that came out today that Areans is not unsure of when he will be cleared for contact practices and be able to play.
But I really dont know if it is time to get rid of him. I have been waiting for him to return as well. I am still in 2nd place in my league. I would try to wait it out as long as you can. You didnt mention what stats you are loosing in?
Conley is only good if you are desperate for assist. Rondo isnt putting up consistent helpful numbers, Davis seems to be lost in the mix down in Miami...he should be starting. Outlaw is playing really well for the Blazers and can shoot the 3. Bell shoots the 3 ball real well but is more of a perimeter defender.
The only things i can recommend besides holding onto him (which would be my first choice) is too either drop Felton or Dalembert and pick someone up off waivers who can help you fill the stats you need and stay in the playoff mix.
good luck
ADDITION - those are pretty significant numbers to lose by. Arenas will get you all those numbers You might want to think about making a big trade. try throwing Arenas in the deal so you don't have to carry his weight. Tell the person you are trying to trade with that he should be back soon. Or like you wanted, drop Arenas. But think...if there a player on waivers who can get you those kinda numbers. Basically you need a guy off waivers who avgs 10+ points, 5+ boards, 5+ assist, 1+ steal and 2+ threes. If you can find that then it might be beneficial. BUT i guarantee someone will pick Arenas up the min you drop him.|||Don't drop Gilbert Arenas. He is way too close to coming back. Out of that group right now, TRAVIS OUTLAW is on a TEAR. He would be the best option to pick up at this point, but try dropping someone else for him. Who's our worst player? Drop him instead of Arenas, because Arenas can really make you a tough opponent in the last few weeks of the season and the playoffs.
Out of those last 3, Mike Dunleavy is the best.|||You can't just drop him after this long. I would package him in a trade and try to get a nice upgrade some where. He could give someone some nice value come playoff time. So look to trade with someone that is on top of the tables. GOOD LUCK!

Overrated vs. Underrated: agree?

Which nba player will make an improvement in his game ?
last year we had a couple of nba players that did well and became all stars ...devin harris and danny granger...
who will we see in the 2009-2010 season to have an impact in his careers?
1. emeka okafur- great defender just needs to be a more effective scorer to get his name out there...
2. adam morrison- wouldn't it a nba fantasy if he became the player that all the college and anaylist said about him ...they compared him to be the next larry bird..
3. trevor azira- the lakers already have their own big three ( lamar, kobe , pau) can be the fourth star like rajon rondo is to boston?
4. Greg Oden- we been waiting for this guy forever now hes going to have at least one good season?
5. andrew bynum- it did well before his injury during the regular season ...but he didn't do nothing in the playoffs...
6. Randy Foye- he had a solid career this year... if twolves do move him can he be the next devin harris type player?
7. david lee- he's a great rebounder and scorer ...can he elevate his game to be one of the top power fowards in the league?
8. Eric Gordon- this guy is awesome ...hopefully he will lead the clipper somewhere besides the lottery pick
9. AL jefferson- can he lead the twolves to a playoff spot?
10. Raymond Felton- i should never doubt a point guard espically a one that was pick very high like felton... he did improve his game can he be the type of ppint guard that had a chauncy billups type of career...starting slow then to a superstar
11. Marvin Williams- hopefully this guy has more potential
12. josh smith- he should be an all star next year ..he's too skilled and athletic not be noticed by nba fans
13. Brook Lopez- wll he be an ellite center by next year?
14. Yi jilian- can u label him a bust if he doesn't do anything next year/
14. Glen Davis- Sometimes i wonder if this guy can be the main man if he was on a different team
15 monta ellias- will he finally be the one that takes the warriors to another playoff birth?|||one you did not leave in is OJ mayo.... i think he will be solid, JJ hickson also, however he was injured for the 2nd half of the season of his rookie year and i believe he will be a good big man, you can also throw in kevin durant....i really think he will be an all star in a few years....might be pretty dominant...especially if OK city builds talent around him...
EXCELLENT QUESTION MY FRIEND, YOU GET A STAR!!|||Eric Gordan by a long shot|||i'm thinking michael beasley. he's probably gonna have to step it up to help wade more|||josh smith, seriously this dude is ill, he is ore athletic than lebron, has the highest hops in the nba, i think he needs to be more aggresive on the offensive end and a bit more coachable|||Greg Oden
He will have great season for sure.He's amazing and he's leadrning from the NBA All Time greats about beeing a beast in offense.I see Greg having 18 ppg,12 rpg,2 bpg because of this:
Oden is athletic and powerful player,he shows his stregth in his dunks which are the basic for his points.If he ussesmore often the hoop shots and that turn around move in the post he will averge 18 ppg.
He can averge 12 rebounds in a season because he's a defensive force like Russell.He's smart rebounder and just waits to grabb the ball in the tight moment.Oden is a natural beast on the rebounds
His defense and it often compared to Russell and that's the right move.He finnaly started to learn to block shots without fouls.I see his defensive presence so big and he can have 2,5 bpg for sure
Greg Oden is defensive force like Bill Russell and is worth championships
He's got bright future ahead of him and will lead the league in reboundsa and blocks

Will Greg Norman's record be broken at Royal Saint Georges this year?
Will Norman's phenomenal record of 13 under 267 at the 1993 Open Championship be broken this year? And if so who will break it? And Norman's performance was described by Gene Sarazen at the time as the most awesome display of golf he had ever witnessed. Although that has changed now as I think either the 1997 US Masters or the 2000 US Open by Tiger Woods are the best displays in a major. I also think Norman should have beaten Jack Nicklaus and Raymond Floyd's record of 17 under 271 in 1965 and 1976 respectively, at the US Masters in 1996, the year before Woods eventually did it, but Greg choked while partnering Faldo for the last two rounds, especially the last round obviously. And everyone seems to think Norman finished runnner - up to Faldo that year when in fact it was Davis Love III.|||I don't think anyone will break the record this year. I think it's going to be pretty tough to break this record.|||Maybe! anything can happen in a game of golf!

What are your 5 favorite films of all time and why?
What are your 5 favorite films of all time and why?
#1 Gone with the Wind, Vivien Leigh's Scarlet was the ultimate *****. Great acting, great cinematography and fantastic script.
#2 Vertigo, You can't miss with Novak and Stewart and Hitchcock's direction. A definite nail bitter.
#3 Mildred Pierce. Joan Crawford at her finest. No wonder she was a star all those years.
#4 What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? Another Crawford picture with Bette Davis as well. can't beat this twosome!
#5 Rear Window, another Hitchcock film featuring Grace Kelly, Stewart, Thelma Ritter and Perry Mason I mean Raymond Burr!
The pictures they make today can't compare with any of these.|||In no particular order:
Roman Holiday- Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck are reason enough. He was insanely handsome!
Gone with the Wind- Brilliant movie. I could watch Vivian Leigh as Scarlett all day.
Rear Window- Grace Kelly was mind numbingly beautiful and talented.
The Seven Year Itch- The first Marilyn movie I ever saw, it holds a special place in my heart.
To Kill a Mockingbird- My mom made me watch this movie when I was a teenager and I fell in love with it.
and I have to add The Wizard of Oz because I love it so very much. Me and my mom would watch it together every year when it came on television.

Are we too much engrossed with the idea of the 2010 FA?
Take a look at the 2009 FA:
2009 Free agents (optional, restricted or not) :
Kobe Bryant, Carlos Boozer, Allen Iverson, Ron Artest, Jason Kidd, Shawn Marion, Andre Miller, Lamar Odom , Rasheed Wallace, Marvin Williams, Zaza Pachulia, Mike Bibby, Leon Powe, Eddie House, Raymond Felton, Sean Singletary, Drew Gooden, Ben Gordon, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Anderson Varejao , Brandon Bass, Chris Andersen, , Antonio McDyess, C.J. Watson, Jamal Crawford, Rasho Nesterovic, Trevor Ariza, Quinton Ross, Hakim Warrick, Ramon Sessions, Charlie Villanueva, David Lee, Nate Robinson, Stephon Marbury, Quentin Richardson , Eddy Curry, Al Harrington, Joe Smith , Keith Bogans , Hedo Turkoglu, Donyell Marshall, Andre Miller, Matt Barnes, Grant Hill, Bobby Jackson, Michael Finley, Ime Udoka, Carlos Delfino, Jermaine O'Neal, Anthony Parker , Paul Millsap, Kyle Korver, Mehmet Okur.
There are 163 free agents in 2009, compared to 114 in 2010.
almost 60% in the 2009 free agent list are defensive players, above 50% are big men.
These people above can be a good supporting cast, to whomever they will sign to. In fact, if I were the Clippers, I'd keep Baron Davis and Camby and build around the 2009 FA guys.|||Well when you look at the 2009 FAs, there are few players that you can actually build around, Kobe will be 31 next summer, which isn't an promising age to build a franchise around. There will be several good role players available that can push a franchise on the course for a championship given it already has a super-star franchise player in place.
Now when you look at the 2010 FAs, you can immediately identify at least 4 players that are proven in this league and is still primed for expansion. LeBron/Wade/Melo can be that one player that takes a lotto team to a playoff contender and the business side of this is much more money in terms of merchandise sales and ticket sales.
So the 2010 is so hyped up because it has promising players that can grow while the 2009 is really more of veterans complementing players.|||the thing is, is that you have three really big names in 2010 who probably want to get out of where they are now.
1. Chris Bosh
2. Dwayne Wade
3. Lebron James
the reason why 2010 is such a big deal is because the knicks have enough cap room to pursue james and bosh, so this would instantly make them a contender, but i still think lebron will stay in cleveland, because now they have a good supporting cast and they are first in the East and he also is originally from the Cleveland area. they will probably give him a huge contract to stay but the bright lights of Broadway and Times square and the mystique of MSG may attract lebron no matter how much Cleveland is willing to give him.|||Because 2009 FA class might stay in their former team,unlike 2010 FA agent|||Of those players, how many are superstar players? Also remember that only three teams will have significant cap space in the offseason: Detroit, OKC, and Memphis.
Kobe may opt out, but it's to get a new contract to stay with the Lakers. Boozer is perhaps the best free agent in this class, but if Detroit doesn't want him, he's going to struggle to find the money he wants. It's probably better for him to stay another year in Utah. Iverson, at most, is going to get the midlevel. Same with Artest and Kidd. Marion is going to return to Toronto probably because Colangelo wants to keep him for some reason, but otherwise, he won't get more than midlevel money on the market. Miller will get at most midlevel money also. Odom might get a deal from elsewhere, but the Lakers cut salary to keep him and Ariza, so both are probably staying, especially if the Lakers win the championship this year. I'm not sure anyone is going to get 'Sheed besides Charlotte; no one wants to deal with him. Williams probably returns to the Hawks. Pachulia is a backup. Bibby gets midlevel money tops. Powe will stay with the Celtics, same with House. Felton will probably stay with the Bobcats as Detroit, OKC, and Memphis don't really need point guards. Singletary sucks. Gooden won't get midlevel money. Gordon is probably going to return to the Bulls because no one is going to pay what he wants. Illgauskas will probably come back to Cleveland for less. Varajeo might go elsewhere given that Fegan is his agent, but he won't get more than midlevel money. Bass will stay with Dallas. Andersen will stay with Denver. McDyess will likely stay around in Detroit for less. Watson is a backup. Crawford isn't going to leave $20 million on the table unless Nelly threatens to kill him. Nesterovic is a backup. Ariza will come back to the Lakers. Ross is a backup. Warrick barely deserves midlevel money. Sessions probably comes back to the Bucks because no one is going to given him that big of a contract. Same with Villanueva if the Bucks don't do a sign-and-trade. Lee might get a decent contract if Detroit or Memphis are willing to use some of their cap space, but otherwise, he comes back to the Knicks or leaves via a sign-and-trade that enables Walsh to get rid of Curry or Jeffries. Same situation with Robinson, although I think he's more liable to return than Lee. Marbury is a backup and frankly, is awful. Richardson gets less than midlevel money. No way in the world Curry opts out of his contract. Same with Harrington; he won't get enough money on the market. Smith will get maybe a biannual exception somewhere to be a backup or come back to the Cavs. Same with Bogans. Turkoglu will probably come back to the Magic. Marshall is a backup and will likely come back to Philly as they need a three-point shooter. Barnes likely comes back to the Suns. Hill won't get more than midlevel money. Jackson is a backup at this stage in his career. Finley and Udoka likely return to the Spurs. Delfino will go back to the Raptors if he's coming back to the NBA because no one is going to pay him enough for him to leave Toronto. No way in hell O'Neal opts out of $20 million. Parker won't get midlevel money. Korver isn't going to opt out because he won't get more money on the market. Okur is probably going back to Utah.
So of all your free agents, the only big contracts that will be possibly doled out to lure a free agent from their team are Boozer, Odom, or Lee.
2010 has LeBron, Wade, and Bosh on the open market. Do I need to continue? Part of the difference in 2010 is that a lot more teams have cap space to throw around as versus only three teams in the offseason this year. A lot of people this offseason are going to settle for returning to their teams because they simply won't find more money on the open market.|||yah|||mark my words 2009 class will be better because more of them are likely to move teams, the 2010 class is fools gold, teams like the nets, knicks even the pistons are kidding themselves lebron dwade cbosh are likely to stay with their teams mayb cbosh is the most likely to move but thats it|||THERE ARE A LOT OF GREAT PLAYERS THAT ARE FREE AGENTS, BUT I WOULD SIGN SOME 2009 FIRST !!!|||Brother J Answered Right
i dont Think That Anyone of 2009 FA Want to leave their team
But there is some talking About 2010 FA who Might Leave
You see Orton is better than all of these dumb wrestlers. These guys can't wrestler for anything. Orton can beat any of them anytime amy place. Orton is the best ever you should all realize it.|||Randy Orton isn't as talented as Chris Jericho, AJ Styles or the Briscoe Brothers.They are all gifted and charismatic wrestlers who work an excellent style of technical Lucha Libre wrestling and consistently put on entertaining matches.|||kofi kingston -%26gt; flattened -%26gt;randyorton -%26gt;table -%26gt;PwNeD|||Be honest...
Randy Orton isn't better than more than 10 of the people you listed, especially the people from Ring of Honor and most of TNA.|||no he's not better than them he's a stuck up POS and he cant wrestle just like JBL orton sucks big time he cant wrestle but one u name can.|||Correct me if I'm wrong,but didn't Orton get pwned by Kofi on Raw last night?LOL!|||DAMN U Cock Sucking a Little Too Much Dude Theres Plenty of People Who Can Beat Orton

Boring|||Okay,I'm a fan of Orton,but firstly,I am not obsessed with him(or any wrestler) enough to call them "God" because it's definitely not true,secondly,just because I like him over some other guys,does not mean he is better than the whole roster. Randy is an okay wrestler,but he isn't a God,nor the best wrestler EVER.
So be honest with yourself,it's okay to like somebody,but not as far as you have taken it.
Anyway,thanks for trying,but most of all,thanks for the 2 points. I'm on my way to becoming a Top Contributor,so those points help me a lot.|||WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, YOU'RE ALL WRONG!
Firstly you missed someone off your list. Vincent Kennedy McMahon.
And John Cena is superior to Randy Orton. Cena is better by far. He has more moves and his finisher is better. The FU, the attitude ajustment, do you realize how hard that move it to pull off? And the RKO is sooooo easy even I can do it at home in my back yard on my trampoline. Cause I'm cool like that.
You fool. Cena %26gt; Orton.|||Randy Orton isn't better than Sting, Hulk Hogan, or Mick Foley.
I do think he is better than everyone in ROH and WWE.
I'll need to see him go against Matt Morgan %26amp; Samoa Joe before I can say that Randy is better than them 2.|||Wrong Wrong Wrong

But Randy orton is Good %26amp; i always thought he was great Until The Viper Persona Came along but now its Like Oh wow its orton...
Batista=the best
WHICH PLAYER SHOULD I TRADE FOR?
In my fantasy basketball league, my team consists of a great frontcourt with Dwight Howard, Emeka Okafor, Marcus Camby, and Lamar Odom, but I lack some guards. My best is Michael Redd, but I need another for assists and steals. Who should I trade for?
MY TEAM
PG = Raymond Felton
SG = Michael Redd
G = Mike Miller
SF = Michael Beasley
F = Emeka Okafor
PF = Lamar Odom
C = Dwight Howard
C = Marcus Camby
Util = Ricky Davis
Util = Linas Kleiza
Bench = Brendan Haywood
Bench = Chris Wilcox
Bench = Monta Ellis
Who should I trade for?|||trade haywood for that rookie deegan for the suns. he made the team as a "walk on" and is supposed to be a real surprise this year|||Let the season progress first. I think you will be surprised by most of their stats.|||chris huhon will likely start for the knicks and you might wanna trade for rondo

Is Ricky Davis worth a pickup?
Davis is currently on waivers in my league. Do y'all think he's worth picking up? Who do you think I should drop? Here is my team.
Point Guards:
Mo Williams
Antonio Daniels
Shooting Guards:
Kirk Hinrich (point guard eligible)
Raymond Felton (point guard eligible)
Raja Bell
Small Forward:
Tracy McGrady (shooting guard eligible)
Kevin Durant (shooting guard eligible)
Andrea Bargnani (power forward %26amp; center eligible)
Power Forward:
Tim Duncan (center eligible)
Pau Gasol (center eligible)
Ryan Gomes (small forward eligible)
Center:
Andris Biedrins
Shaquille O'Neal|||please please do not listen to the folks that are telling you to dump bargnani. it is apparent that he hasn't been of much value in fantasy basketball of late but he wasnt a first overall pick for nothing. he has skills and as a good fantasy player myself for quite some time, the only thing that matters to me is making the playoffs and having players on your squad that will deliver you the title in the playoffs.
even if youre in a more urgent situation where you need more help to make the playoffs because you might not already hold a playoff spot, i would keep bargnani because he will heat up.
i believe andrea bargnani will be one of those players who will perform for you at the end when it truly matters.
i also believe that ricky davis should not be knocked on for his recent poor play. he always busts out when it comes to the stretch run and he will get plenty of minutes since the heat will not be in contention. he can score in bunches, and is one of those rare stat sheet fillers when he is one his game. when he doesnt score at least 15 pts in a few games, he still puts up a decent amount of rebounds and assists.
the person you should drop is antonio daniels. he is playing as bad as ricky davis is right now, but the difference is ricky hasnt put up many shot attempts of late. daniels is putting up numbers that ricky davis would get on an off night. gilbert arenas is expected to return and that will make him even less significant.
down the stretch....when davis gets more playing time, he will shoot more, and when he shoots more, thats when he can give you the big boost to win the title.|||I think he is more valuable than Bargnani. Bargnani has been worthless in fantasy leagues.
Raja Bell is not too great but will get you 3'd and in looking at your line up, you need them.
Everywhere else is solid and not worth Davis for any of the rest of the bunch|||i may pick him up over bargnani. bargnani has not done anything this year, although davis has very little fantasy value. i would not expect much out of him if you add him. all he does is shoot, and he is not good at it....|||people are saying pick him up over bargnani but i would say no; there has to be better players on waivers than ricky davis; he is playing horrible on the worst team in the league, not too much to be excited about... i would rather pick up jordan farmer or jamario moon (if they are on waivers....) joe smith even... davis, he will kill your fg%...|||I sueggest you pick him up and drop bargnani.he is not having such a great year...|||I'd definetely pick up Ricky Davis for either Raja Bell or Bargnani. Personally, I'd drop Bargnani. He's been struggling all season, and he has a terrible FG%. He doesn't contribute anything to your team. Davis can at least pick up some points, a steal, and a three.
